PawPlan Privacy

1. Overview

PawPlan is a pet-care planning app. This policy describes what data the app handles, how it is used, and which Apple services are involved.

2. What PawPlan stores

PawPlan can store pet profile details, pet parent details, vet and emergency contacts, care details, pet-care records, attachments, reminder preferences, appearance settings, and premium-state preferences.

When iCloud is available on the device, this app data can also sync or restore through the app’s CloudKit-backed storage.

3. How the data is used

PawPlan uses this data to show daily tasks and logging history, generate insights and summaries, schedule reminders, create exportable summaries and PDF care packets, enforce free-tier and premium access rules, and restore or sync pet-care records across devices through Apple services when available.

Core app usage is designed to work locally on the device, including common logging actions and recent pet-data views.

4. Analytics and Apple services

PawPlan includes Firebase Analytics to measure basic product usage such as screen views, quick-log opens, task completion events, pet switching, and routine save or completion events. It does not use analytics for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising.

The app also relies on Apple platform services where relevant, including CloudKit, StoreKit, UserNotifications, WidgetKit, and App Groups.

5. Purchases, files, and control

Optional Pawerium subscriptions are handled by Apple StoreKit. Purchase, renewal, billing, and restore handling are managed by Apple.

The app can handle photos, PDF files, exports, notifications, and widgets when the user chooses to use those features. Users can update or delete much of their data directly in the app, including pet profiles, records, notes, attachments, and CloudKit-backed backup state.
