Do I need to add my whole wardrobe?

No. The app works immediately with built-in clothing types. Adding a few pieces you wear often is enough to make recommendations feel more personal.

What does free include?

Free gives you daily recommendations, 5 to 10 Surprise tries each day, 10 to 15 live wardrobe pieces depending on your daily run, and earned previews of features like color mood, Planner, Insights, themes, and type. Pro removes the caps and unlocks the full Planner, full Insights, widgets, sync, and deeper controls.

Why was my new item saved to archive?

Free can save pieces without limit, but only 10 to 15 pieces can stay live at once depending on your current daily run tier. If your live wardrobe is already full, the new piece is saved to archive and you can swap it in later.

What does live mean in Wardrobe?

Live pieces are the ones the app uses when it builds Today, Planner, and Insights. Archived pieces stay saved, but they do not shape recommendations until you switch them back to live.

When does Surprise reset?

Surprise resets each day. Free gets 5 to 10 Surprise tries depending on your current daily run tier, and Pro keeps Surprise available without the daily cap.

Why are Planner or Insights still locked?

Planner and Insights are premium features. Free can unlock a small preview through regular use, but the full 7-day Planner and the full Insights report stay in Pro.

What if the weather looks wrong?

Check whether live location is on in Settings, or pin a city manually. If location access is off, the app can still work from a saved city instead.

How do I restore Pro or reach support?

Open the paywall from Profile and use the restore purchase option with the same Apple ID. If something still looks wrong, use hello@orvynhq.com or the support links on this page.

Troubleshooting

A wardrobe image looks wrong after editing.

Reopen the piece, edit the image again, and save the crop or cleanup state you want. If a saved image still renders incorrectly, email support and include the device model and iOS version.

iCloud sync is unavailable.

Open Settings inside the app and check the iCloud status card. If iCloud is unavailable on the device, WeathrWear will keep working with local storage only.

Do I need an account?

No. WeathrWear does not require a separate app account to use the recommendation flow or save wardrobe items.

Does the app use third-party analytics?

Yes. The launch build uses Firebase Analytics for lightweight product measurement, but it does not use the advertising identifier or cross-app ad tracking.
