Formulon Privacy

Formulon is an unofficial Formula 1 companion app focused on session countdowns, weekend schedules, standings, widgets, weather, and optional subscription features.

Formulon stores app preferences locally on your device, including appearance and team-theme selections, onboarding state, reminder settings, favorite drivers, constructors, circuits, watched-session history, and widget preferences.

Some settings are mirrored into the shared app group used by the widget extension so widgets can show your selected content.

If you allow notifications, Formulon schedules local reminder notifications on your device for upcoming sessions. Notification preferences can be changed in the app or in iOS Settings.

Paddock Pass purchases, renewals, billing, and subscription management are handled by Apple through the App Store. Formulon receives product and entitlement status needed to unlock subscription features, but does not process or store payment card information.

Formulon fetches schedule and standings data from Jolpica and weather forecast data from WeatherAPI. Like any internet-connected app, those requests may send technical information such as your IP address and request metadata to those providers.

Formulon does not include advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. The app may send limited in-app analytics events to Firebase Analytics for aggregate product measurement.

Formulon does not sell your personal data. Outside of normal requests to Jolpica, WeatherAPI, Apple purchase services, and iOS notification services, the app does not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Locally stored app data remains on your device until you change it, remove it, or uninstall the app.
